We invite community members of all ages, sizes and backgrounds to spend the day on the gorgeous Cardinal Greenways for our quarter-, half- and full-marathons. The distance you choose is up to you! Details of the big day are in the works, but you can’t afford to wait! Start your training today!
Walk Indiana is a year-round program with weekly opportunities to train with new friends during our Wednesday or Saturday walks – or on your own. Our goal is to get you off the couch and from behind your desk and into a healthy lifestyle that you can sustain – and enjoy — throughout your life.
If you’re a return marathon walker, don’t be afraid to challenge yourself to a longer distance. Under the training tab, you’ll find self-directed training calendars to help with your preparation. Enjoy!
Cost: Your $25 registration includes complimentary sports bag, Walk Indiana T-shirt, medallion and refreshments throughout the course.
Rest stops: Rest stops will be positioned at regular intervals along each of the courses. Snacks, fluids and restrooms will be available for participants.
Finish line celebration: All routes begin and end at Wysor Depot, where family and friends can wait for walkers’ return. Refreshments will available at the finish line for participants.
